タイではシーシャ（水たばこ）、電子タバコの使用が禁止されています。その代わり、昨年からは医療用大麻が解禁され、町中のいたるところで大麻ショップが目に付きます。また普通のたばこに関してはグロいパッケージではあるものの普通にコンビニで販売されています。
日本では、タバコは普通に売られていますが、シーシャ、電子タバコと大麻との関係は全くの逆です。そもそもなぜ、タバコはよくて、水たばこはだめなのでしょうか？電子タバコはだめなのでしょうか？
そこに明確な健康被害の違いはないかもしれません、いやあったとしても国ごとにレギュレーションが違いすぎる。そうなると、「利権」なのでしょう。安直には言えませんが、ロジックはそこにあまり存在しないように思います。
でもその二つの国の中で明らかに異なるレギュレーションを感じるというのはある意味新鮮です。そういえば、昔、華僑の人の考え方の本とか、ユダヤの人の考え方の本とかを読んでいたことがありました。華僑の人の考え方は自分には全く入ってこなかったのですが、ユダヤの人の考え方は抽象度が高く入ってきた気がします。また年齢が上がったからなのか、権力、人の話を聞くということに関しての言葉が特にぐっときました。権力への興味って自分はあまりないのですが、普通は組織内にいるマインドなどもあり少しづつあがるのかなと客観的に感じます。またプライドの保ち方の面はあのとき読んだときとても印象に残ったんだなと思い出しました。

The wonders of Thailand are obvious
The use of shisha and e-cigarettes is prohibited in Thailand.
Instead, since last year, the legalization of medical marijuana has been lifted, and marijuana shops can be seen all over town.
Also, regular cigarettes are sold at convenience stores, although they have ugly packaging.
In Japan, cigarettes are commonly sold, but the relationship between shisha, electronic cigarettes, and cannabis is completely opposite.
why cigarette is acceptable and hookah is not

There may not be a clear difference in health hazards, and even if there were, the regulations are too different from country to country. If that's the case, it's probably a " Concession ". I can't say it easily, but I don't think there's much logic there.
However, it is refreshing in a sense to feel that the regulations in these two countries are clearly different.
Come to think of it, a long time ago I was reading books about how overseas Chinese people think, and books about Jewish people's ways of thinking. The way overseas Chinese people think has never entered my mind, but I feel that the way Jewish people think has a high level of abstraction.
Also, perhaps because I am older, the words about power and listening to others particularly stood out to me. I personally don't have much of an interest in power, but I objectively feel that it increases little by little because of the mindset within the organization. I also remember that the part about how to maintain pride left a strong impression on me when I read it.
